“Black Excellence” Is The Most Talked About Post Event In Downtown Worcester | Hip Hop Weekly

Black Excellence Mass 2021 Red Carpet event/fashion show took place Saturday evening, February 20th hosted by Sparks Ink and our host Radio ReddRoxx was a special guest on location to catch all the action at the Menkiti Group building in downtown Worcester, Massachusetts!

The Black Excellence Mass 2021 Red Carpet event and fashion show, lead by Leasah Sparks of SparksInkPR and Emmanuel Carboo, was hosted by Boi 2 Times of Rhode Island and featured on Hip Hop Weekly Magazine’s Instagram live. Explosive performances by the founder of the 978 Forever Organization in Lawrence, Ms. Choppa, Co-Founder of Hustle Work Grind and recording artist Rice, 11-year-old FamilyFirst Entertainment recording artist, Rennie, along with recording artist and Founder of L’s Up Entertainment Young Biggs, and more. This was one of the most talked-about events to close out Black History Month.

As artists and entrepreneurs arrived, they walked the only red carpet in town at the Menkiti building located in the Worcester Theatre District at 554 Main Street. They were welcomed with the various flavors of drinks and snacks distributed and licensed by Capeverdean Black Ice and Oowee cold-pressed drinks. Masks and hand sanitizer were distributed to guests at the door. The evening began with the trending sounds provided by the people’s choice DJ Reckless and DJ Mr. CEO fused with SmokeHouse Media production lights and various camera crews. The night then flowed into a series of live performances provided by some of the names listed above and the fashion showcase was provided by Emmanuel Carboo professionally known as Qlynton of Wavvz Newage Designs.

The night ended with artists scoring a distribution deal to Dope Fresh Music Group/ Believe and the chance to perform live during All-Star Weekend. Hip Hop Weekly Magazine’s Instagram live stream reached over 20k views showing parts of the world that there is talent, beauty, and magical energy in Worcester, Massachusetts.
